At Blokes we have been known for our burgers for years, and for good reason! As passionately as our bar handles the cocktails, our chefs do the same in the kitchen with the burgers. For example, we have years of experience in making the best burgers in Groningen. You can see this in everything we do. All our ingredients are fresh and carefully selected by our team, from the brioche bun to the homemade sauces, everything is done with love and passion. For example, all our sauces are homemade, which gives a unique twist to the taste of the burgers.

Because we have been perfecting our burgers for so long, we have also tried all kinds of different butchers. That is how we ended up with our current fantastic butcher Theunis Holtrop from Meppel. The delicious meat is baked pink and finished with cheese and one of our homemade sauces. In short, the perfect burger!

Blokes Meatlovers

Nowadays we also don't only think about meat anymore, and that is clearly reflected in our menu. You can see that our menu has become very broad and has been expanded with fish dishes and vegetarian dishes. Buuuuuut at Blokes we still remain Meatlovers. And you can tell.

Op de kaart vind je een hoop gerechten waar veel tijd en expertise in zit. Zo hebben wij bijvoorbeeld shortribs die maar liefst 7 uur lang zijn gegaard, waardoor dit heerlijke stukje vlees haast smelt op je tong. En om niks van deze smaak te verliezen maken we van de overblijfselen van dit proces onze eigen Grand Prestige Gravy, die bij verschillende gerechten op onze kaart wordt gebruikt.

This delicious gravy can also be chosen with our Entrecote or Irish steak. Two artisanal pieces of meat that are prepared the way you want. In addition to this sauce, you can also choose other homemade sauces with your piece of meat. For example, we also have pepper sauce, mushroom cream sauce, gypsy sauce and herb butter, again all homemade with fresh ingredients.

Of course, only one dish goes with the mushroom cream sauce or gypsy sauce, the Blokes Deurmat! A traditional home-breaded pork schnitzel of 450 grams that just fits on the plate so that every hunger can be satisfied. A real banger as we dare to call it!
